Koh Seh Island is a 15 minute swim from Koh Ta Kiev Island, or 1 hour by slow boat from Otres Beach in SihanoukVille or Ream National Park. The island is covered with trees and a hill in the middle, and is not yet developed. Koh Seh Island is approximately 8Km by 4Km at its widest, with an area of 7.5 square kilometers and a 15Km coastline.
It's in Ream National Park, at the very Southern tip of the park, 9km from the mainland in the province of SihanoukVille, Cambodia.
At the moment, civilization occupies less than 1% of the island, and that is but a building site. But this will probably change fast. Fortunately, they haven't started this yet, and Koh Seh is one of the most pristine islands in Cambodia.
Koh Seh Island is surrounded by a couple other islands, Koh Ta Kiev Island a few hours to the North and Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam 5km to the South. Yes, you can swim to Vietnam from here, if you're a really good swimmer, but you'll be arrested there also for entering the country at the wrong place.
No public water on Koh Seh, no public electricity, and no sewers or garbage collection. Also, no McDonald's yet or 7-Elevens.
There is telephone service, and hence, you can get internet with the right SIM for your phone. The bungalows on the island will import or improvise for the fresh water. Electricity is usually by solar, or generator, and not so good for powering your refrigerator or air-conditioning.
Very few tours from the mainland stop at Koh Seh Island for swimming, snorkeling, cliff jumping, and exploring the island, and lunch!
But if you're there already, You're In!
Not too many tropical island in the world left like Koh Seh Island (for the moment).
Come and Enjoy!
